Corner Bakery Cafe^® Selects PAR Technology’s PixelPoint Software and Industry Leading Hardware Platform

New Hartford, NY—February 16, 2006— CBC Restaurant Corp., operator of Corner Bakery Cafe, today announced the selection of ParTech, Inc.’s integrated hospitality management technology solution for its restaurant operations; selecting PAR’s PixelPoint software application suite and ViGo hardware terminals for their cafes.  PAR will also provide lifecycle support services for the technology systems in the restaurants.  ParTech, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation, is a leader in technical hospitality solutions for hotels and restaurants, and entertainment venues.

CBC Restaurant Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Il Fornaio (America) Corporation, was recently formed in an acquisition involving Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill, & Co., LLC. BRS & Co. is a New York-based private equity firm with extensive experience in restaurant acquisitions.  BRS owns controlling interest in Il Fornaio, which operates 23 Italian dinner houses.
